Lie, If It Saves Someone's Life!

Once, a father and son were coming back from the hospital.
On the way the son said, ‘Dad!’
‘Yes,’
‘Why did you lie to mom? You know that she is suffering from cancer. She was so happy listening your false story.’
‘Doesn't matter. I tried to make her happy.’
‘What?’
I wished her to be happy. Remember, it is said in Bhagwat Gita, ‘If your lie, saves someone’s life, it’s not sin, it’s a good deed.’
At least as long as she lives, let her live happily! Doesn't matter whether the statement is true or false!,’ said his father thoughtfully.
