Jonathan And Nancy Fell In Love In Real Life — And So Did Their Stunt Doubles
January 14, 2026
In the world of Stranger Things, the town of Hawkins is usually synonymous with monsters, mystery, and flickering Christmas lights.
But behind the scenes, the set has become a backdrop for something much more magical: real-life soulmates.
Fans have long adored the real-life love story of Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler) and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), who met while playing one of the show’s most beloved couples and ended up falling in love in real life.
"It’s been a gift to work with my best friend. To be able to have a shared experience with your partner... to be able to both understand each other on that level is great," Heaton said.
But what many people don’t know is that their romance wasn’t the only one sparked by the Netflix hit.
In a twist that feels almost too perfect to be real, their stunt doubles also found love on set — and actually got married.

Jessica Morgan Hill, Natalia Dyer’s stunt double, and Trevor Jenkins, who doubled for Charlie Heaton, met while working on Stranger Things during Season 3. While their on-screen counterparts were battling supernatural forces and chasing mysteries through Hawkins, these two were quietly building something much more powerful.
Jessica and Trevor have now been married for four years, turning what started as a stunt job into a lifelong partnership.
"I started working on Season 3 of Stranger Things as Jessica Hill, and now I am Jessica Jenkins! I met my husband on this set... Some good things happen in Hawkins!"
There is something uniquely heartwarming about the idea of two pairs of people, all working together to bring the same two characters to life, finding lifelong partners in the process.
In a show about parallel worlds, this real-life parallel love story might just be the most wholesome plot twist of all.
