People Are Sharing The Funniest Company Fails After This Health Insurance Letter Went Viral

December 1, 2025

When it comes to corporate fails, this one might take the cake.

A man recently received a letter from his health insurance company — notifying him they were canceling his coverage… because they didn’t know his address.

Yes, the same address they used to send him the letter in the first place.

Naturally, the internet responded the only way it knows how: by sharing more hilarious customer service and company mix-up stories.

"I once had to contact the electric company about why I didn't get a bill, only a reminder. They told me that they had switched to billing through email. When I asked which email they had sent it to, they told me they didn't have an email for our account. So I actually had to ask them how they had expected me to receive it then?"

"I once had my electricity cut off by a provider because they didn't have my correct address and their bills weren't being mailed to me, and I hadn't paid them. (I had just moved into the house). They knew which address to disconnect, but not to mail bills to."

"I’ve been getting the same damn letter for YEARS about paying a balance of $0.00 for some bloodwork I had done. I am just morbidly curious at this point how many letters it will take before they realize they’re sending me a bill for $0.00. I’ve double, triple, and twelve times checked the numbers that they’re sending me and it is literally a statement saying that I owe $0.00."

"When I was 18 I got a letter from the US draft board telling me I had to register for the draft or I could be arrested. The letter was sent directly to me, at my army unit, in Korea. I ignored them."

"AT&T once sent me a letter that they couldn’t call me to discuss my issue, because they didn’t have my cellphone number. THEY WERE MY CELLPHONE CARRIER!"

"I once got a jury duty notice for a county I moved from the prior year. I called them and told them I don't live in that county anymore. When they asked if I had proof I said, 'You sent it to me at my new address...' There was quite the long pause before they told me I was excused from service."

"When my father died, we called to cancel some of his subscription… we explained he was dead and they found so easy to tell us that he personally needed to call or go to their offices to do that."

"Just today, I tried to set up my new Gov ID account for social security (the old login system worked fine, so yes they had to change it). After sending pictures, verifying address, verification of social security number and my phone number...I received a text message that the couldn't verify my phone# and I had 9 more attempts before being locked out for 9 hours."
