The twins may look different — Fish is the lighter one, and Basil the darker — but they’re perfectly in sync.

Their owner says the two basically do life side-by-side. They nap together. They eat together. They explore together. If one’s curious about a box, the other is already halfway inside it. If one finds a sunny patch, the other is immediately there to claim the adjoining sunbeam.

Fun fact: twin cats often form unusually strong bonds because they learn social cues, play styles, and comfort behaviors from each other during their earliest weeks. Many twins even develop “mirrored habits,” like sleeping in the same position or grooming each other before settling down.
