Firefighters Rescue Elderly Horse Stuck In A Creek

In Georgia, an emergency services team proved that every life matters when they rushed to help a horse in distress — responding just as quickly as they would to any human emergency.

An elderly horse had slipped and fallen into a creek and just couldn’t get back on its feet.
That’s when the Banks County heroes rolled up, ready to lend a hand.
The rescue crew worked together to safely get the horse out of the creek and back standing tall again.

By the end of the operation, the horse was back on its feet — tired but safe — and the firefighters got a well-deserved round of applause.

The horse’s family later shared an update in the comments.
"This is my mom’s horse. We’ve had her for 31 years," Danetta Adams Doncer commented. "Traveler is up and moving around after receiving her IV fluids and being snug as a bug in her stall last night. We are looking forward to and praying for a full recovery."
