Aubrey, a staff member at the library in Charlevoix, shared the precious moment on Reddit along with some unbelievably cute photos.
“So this happened yesterday!” she wrote. “When we got to work there was a newborn fawn on the sidewalk leading up to our main entrance and a doe wandering around on the other side of our parking lot.”

It seemed like the mother deer had briefly left her baby behind in a slightly precarious spot, so the staff jumped into action.
“We put up orange cones and signs, and made sure it was protected from the sun all day,” Aubrey explained.

As the hours passed, there was concern the mother might not return.
But just before sunset, hearts melted again — mama deer came back to reunite with her little one, and the sweet family wandered off together, safe and sound.

To top it all off, the library's local photography club heard about the fawn and rushed over.
The club president, John Doskoch, captured some incredible shots of the tiny visitor, adding a touch of magic to an already unforgettable day.
