Surprise Passenger! Man Finds Sloth Hanging Out In His Car

Antônio Luiz Laghi of Manaus, Brazil, got more than he bargained for when he left his car windows open overnight.

Instead of just letting in fresh air, he inadvertently invited in an adorable wild sloth!

Early in the morning, as the 73-year-old prepared for a routine doctor’s appointment, he walked to his car and found the unexpected visitor casually hanging from his steering wheel.

Laghi did what anyone would do in such a bizarre and delightful situation—he grabbed his phone and started filming. The silly moment quickly became internet gold, racking up views and laughs on TikTok.

According to his son Bruno, the sloth likely wandered in from a nearby wooded area, drawn by the open windows and perhaps curious about its shiny new “ride.”

Thankfully, this joyride wasn’t going anywhere. After ensuring the sloth was unharmed, Laghi gently returned the laid-back creature to its natural habitat in the forest.

The video has more than 1 million views on TikTok and over 3,000 comments.

"He's not getting to that doctor's appointment in time with that driver!" one viewer joked.
