The sign began with a typical cautionary tone:
"PLEASE READ
There have been coyote sightings in Kingsway. Typically, coyotes are nocturnal, but it is not uncommon to see them during the day. Merely seeing one is NOT a reason to call the police. However, there are certain behaviors that are a cause for alarm."

What followed was a list of “alarming” behaviors that sounded suspiciously familiar to fans of Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner. According to the sign, people should worry if they see a coyote:
"A coyote carrying a box marked ACME.
A coyote dropping an anvil from a hot air balloon.
A coyote in possession of a giant magnet."
The list continued with several other over-the-top scenarios pulled straight from the classic cartoon.
A passerby snapped a photo of the sign and shared it on social media, where it’s rapidly gaining viral attention.
