Daughter Finds Journal At Her Mom's House And Everyone Is Crying
December 13, 2023
Avery, now in her 20s, unearthed a precious time capsule during a recent visit to her mom's house – an old journal that she and her mother once used to share their feelings, thoughts, and questions with each other.
The journal is from 2012, when Avery was in 5th Grade.
"Finding the journal my mom and I used to communicate with when I started to struggle with getting my feelings out verbally, and realizing just how incredible she did as a single parent," Avery wrote in an introduction to the letters.
"Reading these as an adult healed my inner child," she said.
