Man Discovers Bobcat In His Car After Spotting Two Eyes Looking At Him

A motorist in Gila Bend, Arizona, found a bobcat in his car after hearing noises coming from under the hood.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the driver must have accidentally hit the bobcat, but didn't know it until he parked his car at work and heard noises under the hood.

"He looked under the hood and saw two eyeballs looking at him," the sheriff's office said.

Deputies arrived on the scene, along with Arizona Game & Fish Department workers, to carefully remove the bobcat from the vehicle.

After an intense but swift effort, they were able to sedate the bobcat and release it back into wild with no injuries to the animal.

"D2 [District 2] is still the Wild Wild West!" the sheriff's office said.
