Lewis Capaldi's Former School Surprised Him With A Statue In His Honor

May 26, 2023

Singer Lewis Capaldi stopped by his old secondary school where he was greeted with a statue in his honor.

The unveiled statue has managed to simultaneously amuse and unsettle Capaldi.

"You really captured my essence," Capaldi, 26, joked.

Pupils and fourth-year teachers spent six months creating the tribute at St Kentigern's Academy in West Lothian, Scotland.

"It's pretty weird-looking, but I like it," he added, before admitting it "might give me nightmares".
