George, 4, was attending the Detroit Red Wings game against Vancouver Canucks on Feb. 11. with his family in Detroit.

During the third and final period of the game, George became a star.

The camera crew put George on the jumbotron and the crowd went wild.

For about 30 seconds, the camera cut between shots of George and shots of Canucks fans. The fans in the arena cheered for George and boo'd the Canucks fans, each time getting a little louder, and each time with a bigger smile on George's face.

"I'm a Vancouver fan. This this was one of the greatest things I've seen at a game. Well done! George will remember that for the rest of his life!" one fan commented.

"I was there and a Canucks fan it was just amazing to see! Kid will never forget that was great to be apart of. Amazing on Detroit Red Wings for making this kids day. Loved it," another fan wrote.

George's mom, Chelsea Rae Miller, also commented to thank the Red Wings organization for making her son's first game so special.

"Thank you to everyone that made his day so special! Amazing game and such a great day!!" Miller wrote.

"George wants everyone to know 'He loves the red team, it's the best color' and he is excited to tell everyone about his first game when he goes to his ice skating class."

In an interview with a local news station, Miller said "there were probably at least 100 people that asked to stop and take pictures with him and high fives and 'can I get an autograph?'"
