This Cat With A 'Mustache' Looks Like Freddie Mercury

A house cat in California is going viral for her "mustache" that bears a resemblance to the mustache worn by Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

The one-year-old cat, named Mostaccioli, has a streak of black fur between her mouth and nose, giving the impression of a black mustache.

Mostaccioli was rescued by her owner who found the feline among a litter of stray kittens in her mother's garden. She found homes for the other kittens but kept Mostaccioli for herself.

Some fans are calling her Freddie Purrcury.

Freddie Mercury also loved cats. At one point, he owned ten.
According to his partner in the memoir Mercury and Me, Freddie "treated the cats like his own children" and said "if any of them came to any harm when Freddie was away, heaven help us."
