81-Year-Old Completes 2nd Tough Mudder In Honor Of Late Husband

Mildred Wilson, 81, recently completed her second Tough Mudder, an obstacle course race that "pushes your physical and mental limits".

Mildred competed in her first Tough Mudder competition in May 2019 after her son asked her if she wanted to try to compete in the muddy event.

Her son, husband and other family and friends were there to root her on and support her.

"He is my best supporter," Mildred said referencing her husband Farrell. "Anything I decide to do, he pretty much let's me do it."

This year she ran in honor of her late husband, who passed away last year.

"The update you've all been waiting for: 81-year-old Mildred Wilson crushed her second Tough Mudder," the organization wrote on Instagram.
