This 4-Year-Old Went Outside To Play, And Came Back With A New Friend

A mother in Virginia was stunned when her 4-year-old son returned from playing outside with a new friend.

Stephanie Brown says she was stunned on the front porch Tuesday morning to see her son standing next to a baby deer.

"Dominic really went outside and brought a deer back...," she captioned the photo on Facebook.

Brown said she was in the kitchen when she heard footsteps on the porch.

"I was like 'Okay, he's getting ready to come in.' So I turn my head and there it is. It's like a little baby deer and him. Like, it wasn't anything strange for him. It was really weird," she said.

"I couldn't even tell you, I was in shock. I was like, 'No way. My mind is playing games with me."

Brown said her son talked to the young fawn and told him that he has cereal inside. So, she let them eat some cereal together before making her son take him back to the tree line because "his mother would be looking for him".
