Woman Leaves Apology Note On Young Man's Car After Argument At Target

August 10, 2020

A mother shared a photo of a note that a woman left her son after they had an argument in the parking lot at Target.

The mother said her son was behind the woman who drove past a parking spot and then reversed without looking and almost hit him.

Then she started yelling at her son about how he needed to learn to drive.

He went to work and returned to find this note waiting for him.

letter to man at target apology

The letter reads:

"Dominic,

Thank you for being a kind, safe space for me during an ugly moment.

Your ability to deescalate my anger showed me something about myself that I needed to see, and I feel so grateful to you for that.

I look forward to learning more about what you are all about, and also letting you see what I'm ACTUALLY all about, our encounter has awakened in me a deeper understanding of what lies beneath the surface for me.

Please know that this was the ugliest I have seen myself in YEARS, and I don't take the experience lightly. You were put in my path for a reason, and I will not take it for granted.

Have a beautiful day and weekend and I look forward to getting to know you better.

Hugs

Karen"
