See How These Amazing Volunteer Therapy Dogs Are Helping Children's Hospital Patients

A group of Golden Retrievers are on mission to bring unconditional love and comfort to children's hospital patients in Southampton, UK.
The team of volunteer therapy dogs at SCH Therapy Dogs includes Archie, Quinn, Leo, Hattie, Jessie, and Milo.

Their visits cover all sorts of animal-assisted intervention, from general meet and greet visits to supporting children at the time of medical examination or procedures.
For instance, this is Jessie teaching patients not to be afraid of certain procedures.
"Just lie on your back and hold your mom's hand!"

The dogs also help make instructional videos for patients.
This is Leo showing how easy it is to get an X-ray.
The dogs are handled by Lyndsey, Karen, Liz and Hannah.
"We are proud to be a team of clinical therapy dogs and handlers who try to visit as many of the children as we can," the SCH Therapy Dogs website states.
