Young Boy Asks Elderly Man If He Can Carry His Bag For Him

A lovely act of kindness from a young boy to an elderly gentleman has racked up thousands of shares on Facebook.

Emma Cope says she was getting out of her car when she overheard a little boy ask an elderly man if he could carry his bag. She snapped a quick photo and posted the heartwarming story on her Facebook page.

This is what she wrote:

"As I was getting out my car today in Kingstanding [England], I heard this little boy say to this old man, can I help you carry your bag, to the man's delight he said oh yes please.. the old man walked slow and the little boy walked beside him and carried his bag!! The parents of this young man should be so proud as you have obviously brought up a polite and caring young lad! Please share this to show that kindness is still out there!!"

This small act of kindness has touched the hearts of many on social media. Emma's post has over 34,000 likes and 16,000 shares.
