Store Employee Lures Deer Out With A Treat. She Returned Later With The Entire Family

Three weeks ago, a mother deer wandered into a Stout, Colorado, convenience store surprising employee Lori Jones.

"She was looking at the sunglasses and the chips," Jones, of the Horsetooth Inn and RV Park, told 9News. "I was laughing so hard."

Jones snapped a few photos of the curious deer and then lured her outside with a peanut bar.

Jones then went back to work checking the store stock.
Thirty minutes later, the doe was inside again... and the rest of her family was waiting at the door.

"They were just looking in the doorway like, 'Can we come in too?' I said, 'No,'" recalled Jones, who lured the herd away with another peanut bar. But this time she clapped so they would scatter at the sound.
"It was so funny."
