This Touching Ad About A Kid With No Lunch Makes An Important Point About Foster Care

A Norwegian ad seeking to raise awareness of the importance of foster care is making its rounds on the internet.

In the ad, a boy opens his lunch box only to find nothing inside while all his peers are enjoying their meals. He leaves the room, visibly upset.

But when he returns to the classroom, he finds that his lunch box is suddenly full.

The ad was posted on the Fosterhjem (foster care) Facebook page and relays the message: "Nothing is better than a good network and community. Let's help each other!"

"Solutions are often closer than you think. Now we need more foster homes, preferably in the children's immediate environment," the text at the end of the video reads.
