She Could Only Blink. Doctors Said She'd Never Walk Or Talk Again... Now Watch THIS!
March 6, 2016
Kate Allatt was told she would never walk, talk, or swallow again on her own due to locked in syndrome - a condition in which a patient is aware but cannot move or communicate verbally due to complete paralysis.
Kate was only able to blink and hear. But she refused to accept this as her life. She uploaded this video to YouTube and wrote, "I walked off the ward, proving 'em wrong and the power of positivity on the brain!"
At one point in the video, she stops and the staff is concerned for her, but she was crying tears of joy.
