Picture Of Cop On The Side Of The Road Comforting Two Lost Dogs Immediately Goes Viral

A touching act of compassion by a Kansas City police officer has gone viral on social media.
The officer - who declined to go public with his name - was caught on camera comforting two dogs who got lost until help could arrive. A passerby snapped a picture and posted it on Facebook.

Debbie Davis later discovered that the dogs had escaped their home and got lost. The police officer sat there – in the cold – comforting them until animal control officers could pick them up and take them to the pound.
The dogs, Leonidas and Bear, were later reunited with their owners at the KC Pet Project.
