The Reason This Town's Supply Of Count Chocula Went Missing Might Make You Thirsty

October 22, 2014

The mystery of the missing Count Chocula cereal has finally been solved!

The people of Fort Collins, Colorado, will not be having the seasonal monster-themed marshmallow cereal for breakfast this year, but they can still enjoy it in another form. Well, adults over 21 years old can. Sorry, kids!

The Black Bottle Brewery scooped up the entire Count Chocula supply from the local grocery stores in order to concoct the next variety in its Cerealiously beer series.

"We did it as a joke at first, but the beer turned out well," the general manager of the brewery told the Coloradoan.

Cerealiously Count Chocula will be released Oct. 30, but beer and cereal fans have more iterations to look forward to, including Lucky Charms for St. Patrick's Day and Cap'n Crunch for another occasion.
