Man Goes Above And Beyond To Save An Animal Stuck In His Truck
June 21, 2014
Errand Frazier wasn't quite sure what to do at first when he heard purring coming from his Chevy pickup truck.
The Florida man couldn't find anything, so he left some cat food under the truck with a camera set up to get to the bottom of it. When he came back the next morning, the food was gone but there was nothing on the video.
Hours later on his way fishing the purring started again so he opened up his tool box, pulled out a pair of sheet metal cutters, and went to work on his truck.

Sure enough, there was a kitten staring back at him. He still could not get to it, so he drove carefully to the local Humane Society for some assistance.
"I said, 'Ma'am, there's a kitten that hitchhiked from my home and I can't get it,"" Frazier said. "She said, 'Man, you did a job on your truck.'"
The cat has since been adopted by a family... but the story gets even better.

The truck was the Frazier family's only vehicle. After the story was shared on the Humane Society's Facebook page, donations to repair the vehicle came pouring in from strangers.
Frazier's wife, Cindy, said they were touched by the outpouring of support. She said it didn't cross their mind to look into repairing it because she knew they couldn't afford it. The couple said they weren't worried about the truck and hoped people would just donate to the humane society to help other animals.
