After 12 Months Away At War, A Soldier Is Reunited With Her Best Friend... And It's Beautiful

March 28, 2014

A married military couple came up with an amazing way to help out fellow soldiers… and their best friends. The last thing soldiers want to worry about before deployment is if their dogs will be cared for, so the couple started Dogs On Deployment, a non-profit that finds foster parents for military pets.

This is just ONE of their many success stories.

Jess was deployed to Afghanistan for 12 months. She found a foster parent through Dogs On Deployment and this is the moment she reunites with her beloved, Emma.

At first, Emma was too overwhelmed by what was going on. But when Emma realizes who she is looking at, it gets real.
