A Chef At A 5 Star Hotel Quit His Job After Visiting His Hometown in India. What He Saw Changed His Life Forever
November 15, 2013

Narayanan Krishnan was working in a 5 star hotel as an executive chef. He was from a very poor town in India and doing quite well for himself.
One day while visiting his home town, he saw a man eating his own human waste to survive. That was the moment that would change his life forever.

Narayanan fed all the guests at his hotel. But all he could think about were the thousands of people suffering and starving to death on the streets.
He quit his job and began feeding the poor.

He didn't stop at feeding them. He shaved them and bathed them.

"Food is one part, love is another part. The food will give them physical nutrition. The love will give them mental nutrition." ~ Narayanan Krishnan
Being a Brahmin community, they are not suppose to touch these people, let alone feed and bathe them.

"Everybody has got 5.5 liters of blood. I am just a human being. For me...everybody is the same." ~ Narayanan Krishnan

What is the ultimate purpose of life?

"It's to give." ~ Narayanan Krishnan
