Young Man Spots Terrified Elderly Woman Clinging To A Lamp Post And Walks Her Home
February 24, 2017
25-year-old Dan Barnett noticed a terrified elderly woman clinging to a lamp post for dear life in heavy winds from his office window.

The kind-hearted real estate agent rushed outside to help her. His coworker filmed his act of kindness from the office window.

"I said 'are you alright? Do you need a hand?' and her eyes lit up as she said 'yes please'," Barnett told DailyMail.
"She told me her name was Joanie and she'd only popped out for a pint of milk and some Werther's Originals but she got out of breath in the wind."

"She was clinging on to the lamp post because she was scared she would get blown into the road... so I offered to walk her to her cottage five minutes away."

"She said she wouldn't have got home without me but I was just happy to help out."

Today Joanie visited HML Shaw Real Estate Agents to give Barnett a box of chocolates to say thank you.
