Homeless man resembling Jesus saves new born baby
October 18, 2012
A homeless man, who witnesses describe as looking like Jesus, saved the life of a new born baby at a truck stop in Oklahoma this week.
Keaton Mason was driving home with her fiance and went into labour four weeks early forcing her to deliver the baby in the passenger seat of their car.
The baby was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck making it unable for her to breathe. The new born began to turn blue.
In a panic, Mason called 911 and yelled for help. Standing near by on the side of the road was Gary Wilson, a man without a home, food, or money.
Wilson quickly got on the phone with the 911 dispatcher and calmly took directions to free the baby and save her life. He freed the infant from the unbilical cord by tying it in a knot while rubbing her back helping her to breathe on her own.
"He was our angel that night, that's for sure," Mason told News9.
Tatum was born just 4 pounds 11 ounces but is doing well.
As for Mr. Wilson, he continued on his way. Truck stop employees offered him a hot meal and a place to sleep that night which he kindly accepted. The next morning, he was no where to be found.
"I would describe him as kinda like looking like Jesus," said truck stop employee, Waneva Morris. "He had the long hair, the long beard. Just a very nice gentleman."
So who was this stranger? He is a man who resembles Jesus, shows up in a desperate time of need, only to disappear the next morning? Watch the news clip below.
