A heartwarming photo has emerged online showing a young beauty queen returning to her hometown in Thailand to say thank you in the most respectful way to the woman who raised her.

After winning Miss Thailand 2015, 17 year-old Khanittha "Mint" Phasaeng went back to visit her single mom and knelt before her, showing the utmost respect to the woman who collected and recycled trash her whole life to raise her.

"What I have today is because of my mother," Mint told DramaFever News. "She and I make a living by doing honest work, so there is no reason why I should feel inferior."
