Before This Public Pool Is Drained At The End Of Summer, There Is A Day Where Dogs Get To Swim
September 9, 2015
At the end of every pool season, the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association organizes "Dog Day" - a charity event that allows four-legged friends to enjoy the warm waters of the public pools before the water is drained.
In addition to the dogs enjoying the pool, the event raises money for the Calgary Humane Society. Over 300 dogs participated this year raising about $800.
Now that's a great way to end the swimming season!
