He Was Nervous About His First Day Of School, So Dad Did Something Awesome
August 23, 2015
The first day of school is such an exciting and nerve-racking time, but rarely do kids have to worry about incorporating a full leg cast into their outfit.
One kindergartner was about to begin school with one, so his father used his artistic talents to make it a little easier for him.

"Our kindergartener had to start school in a full leg cast, so my husband did what he could to make it a little easier on him," the boy's mother posted on Reddit. "Luckily my husband has always been a doodler and 6-year-olds have simple tastes: minions and vintage Turtles."
According to Mom, her son had a relapse of clubfoot - a deformity in an infant's foot where the bottom of the foot faces sideways. It is not painful during infancy and is corrected with nonsurgical methods that include a combination of stretching, casting, and bracing.
"He went through seven casts as an infant, although none of them were as cool as these," she added.
We doubt the little boy was given any trouble on his first day - in fact, he was probably the coolest kid in class. Great job, Dad!
