May 9, 2015

The precious reaction of a 10 year-old girl learning she has just made the cheerleading squad has become infectious.

Her mother, Renee Parker, shared the video on Facebook with the caption:

"Can't even put into words how excited she is!!!! I am the proud mom of an NDMS cheerleader!!!

Renee says Lacey has dreamed of becoming a cheerleader ever since watching her two older sisters cheer their way through school.

According to Today.com, Doctors originally didn't expect Lacey to survive 10 days. Yet, 10 years later, she continues to thrive and live out her dreams.
