Construction Workers In China Make An Incredible Discovery After Stumbling Across Strange Looking Rocks

It was a typical day for construction workers in southern China until they came across a series of strange looking rocks.

According to The South China Morning Post, the crew was working on a road in the city of Heyuan when they discovered 43 fossilized dinosaur eggs, including 19 that were fully intact. The largest egg was more than 7 inches in diameter.

Heyuan has dubbed itself the "Home of Dinosaurs".
City authorities say over 17,000 fragments of fossilized dinosaur eggs have been found in the area since the first discovery was made on a river bank in 1996.

The eggs are currently being analyzed to determine their species.
