This Morning Something Beautiful Happened In The Skies Over Georgia And South Carolina
March 31, 2015
Parts of the South were treated to a very rare cloud formation today.
Residents in parts of Georgia and South Carolina walked out of their homes to find that the sky had turned into a sea of clouds that looked like rolling waves.
This rare, celestial sight is called Undulus Asperatus (a.k.a. "roughened waves").
The way they form is still relatively mysterious, adding a divine beauty to their celestial magnificence.
