When the jumbotron at a Winnipeg Jets game found Alyx Delaloye holding up a sign that read "Chemo by day... Jets by night", the crowd erupted.

Alyx was diagnosed with leukemia in July and is going through her sixth round of chemotherapy.

The Jets invited Alyx back to another game, and found her once again on the jumbotron. The crowd gave her a standing ovation, and then something really special happened - a little boy a few rows ahead of her walked up the stairs and handed her his Jets souvenir hockey stick signed by Tyler Myers.

A shocked-looking Alyx turned to her parents as the boy walked back to his seat. Moments later she walked down to the boy and wrapped her arms around him, burying her head against him with a loving thank you.
