Stan Beaton lost his wife to stomach cancer 14 years ago. He had been saving a voicemail recording of her for all these years so that he could still hear her voice.
But when his telephone provider, Virgin Media, upgraded their voicemail system, they accidentally deleted the recording during the process. Stan thought he had lost the sound of his late wife's voice forever.
