TO READ (KJV) Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet Genesis 29:27.
It happened so suddenly and everyone was surprised at the speed and strength the young lad put into the race to cross the finish line. Everyone was amazed and wondering "how did he do it?" He was really lagging behind in the keenly contested race and just about fifty meters to the end of the race everything changed and to the amusement of Alalade when the boy was asked whatever made him throw that kind of energy into the last few meters of the race. He answered with tears streaming down his eyes, "Every other person ran to win a prize, I ran for Grandma." What? Ran for Grandma?
He explained further that while he was training and putting in for the competition, his major encourager was his grandma whom he lost to a debilitating sickness but before she passed on she made him promise that he would run for her even if she didn't come out of the sickness.how touching. So while he felt like quitting at during the race when it wasn't worth it, he still ran the race of his life just to make grandma happy!
