Judith "Judge Judy" Sheindlin is by far the highest-paid personality on television, bringing in an estimated $47 million per year according to TV Guide. The former New York Judge tackles small claims cases with her no-nonsense attitude that viewers seem to thoroughly enjoy watching.

A reddit user, whose ex-girlfriend is apparently suing him, posted a photo of this letter he just received in the mail from the producers of Judge Judy:
Let's see, you get a free trip. You get paid an appearance fee. If you win, you get the judgement plus the appearance fee. If you lose, you get the appearance fee. Everybody wins.
So the next time someone's trying to sue you, write Judge Judy a letter.
