This 350 square foot storage unit was built in 1890. It's located in LeDroit Park, a neighborhood in NW Washington D.C. about two miles north of the White House.
By investing roughly $50,000 (doing all the work himself), he converted his unit into a beautiful loft apartment.
One of the first things he had to do to make the space livable was install plumbing.
He gave the door a face lift.
He installed lights and insulation.
