He Found These Huge Cement Pipes Being Thrown Out And Knew Exactly What He Had To Do

March 11, 2015

What's the first thing you think of when you see a couple of huge concrete pipes?

Probably not what this guy envisioned. Working for a trash hauling company, he saw these pipes (used to go under roads) being thrown out. He saved them and knew exactly what needed to be done.

First things first - each of these weighs over 14,000 lbs. After getting them home, he dug out a portion of a natural hill and then dragged/pushed/pulled/rolled them into position using a bulldozer and a various other equipment.

Now they're in position.

He filled the back end with a cinderblock wall.

And created a floor.

He used stones to fill the outside of the hill. See it now?

The cellar is just over 24 feet long, 6 feet high and 4.5 feet wide at the floor. It's great for year round storage of just about anything including but not limited to maple syrup and beer!
