'What Do You Say To Death?' Dad Shares Powerful And Inspiring Photo Of His Brave Daughter
November 20, 2016
A father proudly shared this photo of his 7-year-old daughter smiling for the camera just three weeks after suffering a brain hemorrhage that sent her into a coma.
"This is my daughter Laurence. Three weeks ago, everything was fine until she got struck by a headache. It was really painful for her, she never had that kind of pain before but when she started to fall asleep my wife decided to rush her to the hospital. They took care of everything really fast and before we could realize what was happening she came back from a scan, then we knew, she was having a brain hemorrhage.
She was in an induced coma for the few following days and got diagnosed with a Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) and we now know that she got 3 vascular malformations in her brain and one of them ruptured. And there she is... three weeks later, 24hrs after her brain surgery where they removed the small prune sized malformation from her head... saying to Death...
Best wishes to Laurence and her family for a speedy recovery.
