July 22, 2016
A photographer for the New York Times captured this precious photo of an elderly woman sitting at a bus stop wearing an over-sized pair of sunglasses.
"Waiting for the bus along Hudson Street, 83-year-old Lee Taylor caught my eye," writes New York Times staff photographer Nicole Bengiveno on Instagram, who captured this scene in Greenwich Village this morning.
"She said it happens all the time and that's why she wears her giant glasses, to spread the fun and make new friends."
The New York Times shared the photo on their Instagram page to spread "Lee’s #wordsofwisdom."
