He Said Cars Crash Into His House Often. When I Saw Why... I Lost It

July 20, 2016

A guy went on Reddit's home improvement forum asking advice about building a bollard for his Pennsylvania home since he says "My house gets hit by cars a lot."

"A car recently drove through my kitchen wall, destroying everything," he wrote. "It's somewhat understandable, since an active road goes through the middle of my house, but I'd like to minimize future damage."

I initially read the paragraph and assumed he meant he had an active road that has an intersection in front of his house or something. But no, he wasn't kidding.

The road actually goes through the center of his house!

When asked about the door exiting right into the active road, he responded, "Hah, we don't use that door very often."

I have to know the thought process of buying this home.

"The traffic in the living room is a bit of a distraction, but the schools in this area are very good!"
