The Internet Is Going Crazy Over These Pimple Cupcakes That 'Pop' When You Squeeze Them

July 20, 2016

I don't know about you, but I can't stomach watching people pop huge pimples. However, there's plenty of people who get satisfaction and relief after watching the nasty extraction of puss.

Inspired by Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper who has more than 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel alone, Calfifornia's Blessed By Baking made these pimple cupcakes that "pop" when you squeeze them.

The top of the cupcakes are a light brown color and have a red / pink frosting surrounding the gross protrusion. And, of course, the center of the 'pimple' is filled with 'puss' made from custard or lemon curd.

Dr. Pimple Popper herself shared a video of the cupcakes on Instragram:

But if you're like me and don't have the stomach for pimple popping cupcakes, Blessed By Baking has plenty of 'normal' creations, too.
