See Why This Photo Of An Old Man Drinking A Beer Is So Special
May 20, 2016
He's not supposed to be drinking beer, but at 85 years old, I think he's earned the right.
"A week before my grandfather passed away, I snuck his favorite beer into the nursing home for him," redditor ksmitttyy wrote about the man he considered his best friend. "It was his last beer ever."

"We found him sitting in front of the window looking outside. I walked up behind him, and put the beer in front of him, his eyes lit up at me and he smiled. He said 'I don't know whether to say hi to you or drink the beer!' I laughed and said, 'Enjoy Pop-Pop.'
The nursing home, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was dry, although a few nurses walked by and simply smiled when they saw Pop-Pop enjoying his cold beverage.
So what was his favorite beer? Sam Adams Boston Lager.
