A Farmer Found A Baby Calf Freezing In A Snow Bank. This Is What He Did To Save Him
January 29, 2016
Dean Gangwer said he didn't know one of his 100 cows had given birth. But the farmer came upon the newborn calf buried in a snow drift on the edge of his property.
The baby cow was freezing cold, but still breathing. Gangwer scooped up the animal and ran to the family's hot tub.
Dean hopped in with him to make sure the newborn didn't drown.
The calf, affectionately named Leroy, got a life-saving warm-up.
Dean said Leroy has gained his strength and is doing just fine.
