Cardboard Arcade built by 9 year old gets flash mobbed

April 11, 2012

Caine Monroy was just a 9 year old with a dream. His passion was arcade games, and he worked very hard.

Every summer he would spend his days working with his father at his used auto parts store in East LA. In this business, there are a lot of cardboard boxes used for shipping.

Caine would take these boxes and create arcade games. They were so elaborate that when you win, he would get in the back of the box and push tickets out of the slot.  He had prizes and everything.

The only problem was, no one ever played. It was at a junkyard in East LA. Not the biggest hot spot for an arcade center.

Until one day he got his first customer, who made his dreams come true. And this customer only came by to get a part for his '96 Corrola. That is when the magic began.

You have to watch this to believe it, I don't want to spoil it!
