Fire fighters unselfishly donate Mega Millions winnings

Winning the Mega Millions results in a lot of money and big decisions. Five fighfighters from Albuquerque decided to purchase tickets about 10 minutes before the sales ended. I guess it was meant to be.

They ended up getting 5 out of the 6 numbers right, winning a $10,000 prize. When Capt. Jed Hyland told the rest of the crew, they figured he was making an April Fools joke. But this was real!

Instead of keeping the money and splitting it 5 ways, they decided to do something amazing and inspirational. They unselfishly donated the money to fellow fireman, Vince Cordova, who is suffering from a life threatening tumor.

There was no arguement, it was an easy decision. You have to tip your hat to this group of firefighters. Hopefully this can inspire others too.
