A homeless man digging though an Atlanta trash can in hopes of finding food came across something much more valuable; a woman's wallet. Instead of keeping the wallet filled with credit cards, Joel Hartman went to four different hotels in search of the rightful owner.

Two weeks later, Hartman's act of kindness was repaid. The Omni Hotel at CNN Center gave him a room through Thanksgiving, $500 in cash and some new clothes.

"He did the right thing, and now I want to do the right thing for this guy," Scott Stuckey, the hotel's general manager, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Hartman said he was anxious to sleep in a bed, relieved that he can set down his bag without worrying that someone will snatch it from him, and most importantly, take a warm shower.
