Group of Swedish motorcyclists rescue animals from burning home
June 11, 2013
A group of motorcyclists in Sweden saved a group of animals from a burning home.
The bikers were recording their joyride using cameras on their helmets when they noticed a large amount of smoke coming from a house on the side of the road. As they got closer, it was clear the house was engulfed in flames.
Thim Hägerholt and his friends jumped off their bikes and ran into the house to make sure no one was stuck inside. They searched throughout the house finding a terrified cat curled upstairs near where the fire started, as well as a few dogs.
Hägerholt and his friends were able to escort all the animals out of the house before the house burned down to the ground. The house could not be saved.
The owner of the home, Harriet Edeholt, is very thankful for the motorcyclists saving all of her pets. Even though her house had just burned down, she invited them all for coffee.
The motorcyclists caught the whole rescue on film with their helmet cameras. Watch the video below.
